Finally ready for paint!!! It's been a long time coming but I'm finally ready to go into the primer stage for this bad boy. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone that has been following the development of this project. This could not have been done without you guys This is going to be a straight G1 repaint. I'll be starting out with Onslaught because he's my fav out of the team. Going to take my time with this one to ensure it comes out great...hopefully YR
Ah yes! Here it is! Can't wait till we see colour photographs! It'll be really interesting to see the different ideas and styles of different artist! I can't wait to get mine and give it a shot!...
Can't wait to see what your version of the kit comes out! I am eagerly awaiting the WIP pictures! I'll be scraping together what nickels I can spare to put towards purchasing a set (preferably before Dec. 11th)! If you're half as good a painter than you are a caster, then this thing is going to be utterly AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
Update coming this weekend buddy. Lots of WIP pics to share. I can't wait to see what you do with your kit Orio! I'm going with a G1 color scheme but dirty. After all they are war vehicles. WOW. lookin reaaal good. the arms are on the long side, but i like how it gives off an anime like style. cant wait to see what the finished project looks like!
Good work so far. I am pretty stoked to see what this looks like after you paint it up. I got started on my Blast Off yesterday. I'm using an Energon Treadshot and the purple/blue colored limbs from the TFCC exlcusive figure. I'm sure some people will gasp because it can sell for like $40 - $60 but hey I got mine with my membership. I'll send you that package today with the parts we talked about
Yeah, I wanted the arms to be kinda big military rambo rocky balboa over-the-top type arms. He's a military guy. I've always imaged him to big and gorilla like. Nice Lucs, you got a head start on me with the Blastoff. I've always like your paint apps man - can't wait to see your version. Updates coming this weekend. You're the one with the great ideas man! I've got some testors acrylics lying around for my Targetmaster project. But I need to pic up some purple for swindle and some spray paint too.
I LOVE what you did with Onslaught!! I admit I wasn't all that impressed at first, but it's getting tempting.This is REALLY starting to look good!
