It's been a while since I did a custom, so figured I'd get back into it. I want to do one of my favourite TFs as a kid in Classics - Fangry!! I've chosen my basic mold (Cybertron Snarl - even got a cheap Japanese black version to make it easier on the colours! ) but am having a bit of a quandry.
The original toy, as you know, looks like this:
A two legged, winged werewolf affair. However, Cybertron Snarl is a four-legged wolf. So I tried to get him on two legs and he ended up like this:
Basically, he looks like a dog mincing about on two paws begging for a treat I think if I were to change his front arms for something else (and obviously build wings) that would help, but I'm not sure of any arms I could use. Any suggestions?
The other problem is that standing up bipedally would reveal a lot of the "hidden" robot parts underneath, which is something I'd need to solve.
So: should I make him 2 legs or 4 legs? Any ideas on arms? Help!! |

Maybe use classics Grimlocks legs?
I'm trying to remember what my other ideas were but I'm drawing a blank Quote:

I'm trying to remember what my other ideas were but I'm drawing a blank | I think the hind legs are OK, it's just the forearms I'm worried about. I think Grimmy's forearms would look a little TOO T-rex like. I was debating using Animated Swoop's forearms but I think that might be the wrong aesthetic. Quote:

I was thinking Cybertron Liobreaker's arms would work.
How big is Snarl? | Too big, I think. I did consider that myself. Snarl's a deluxe, so it'd look a bit... disproportionate |

Great idea, he'll look good. |
