ok...im sure alot of you will probably think i was dumb. but I never liked the pretenders as a whole. maybe I was getting too old for toys by then, I don't know but for some reason I really hated bludgeon. times change and the character has grown on me especially after reasearching him a little. so I changed my mind and decided to make my own. I will be useing a model tank kit to finish off the alt mode but I wanted to give you all a sneak peek. CnC welcome. Thanks for looking.

I'm with you on the whole Pretender thing man. Too simplified and too gimmicky for me but what you've done here could turn even the biggest hater! I love that you kept the head and sculpted the face right onto it! Awesome!

thanks spoonman, I thought that the helmet kind of resembled bludgeons, I just have to clean up the sculpting a little after it cures. I am also adding a crecent type of crest to the top that can fold down in alt mode. I am also looking for a tank model tonight to caniblize to finish the turret/backpack.

This is a perfect little mold to make into Bludgeon... particularly his inner tank-bot. Nice idea.

I agree though... Pretenders were STUPID. Bludgeon was only cool because he was an UNDEAD SAMURAI Decepticon, and because Furman liked writing for him. :D

Yeah; The only reason I liked pretenders was because the early ones gave you a shot at obtaining g1 characters you didn't have a chance to get before, even though they were smaller and simpler.

I was a hater of the Pretenders too... Kind of lost interest after G2, then resumed interest when Predaking was re-issued. But I NEVER liked Bludgeon, always thought he was a rip from Skeletor. But this guy you've made, looks off the shelf and full of awesomeness! Three thumbs up!

I don't think that anyone is going to argue with you that the Pretender toys were ass. I like Bludgeon because he was cool in the Marvel comics.
This is looking nice. The face looks good from what I can see, but it's a bit blurry. It could use some dark color in the cracks of the face. That will help sell better it in pictures.
