Hi all. Its been a while since I posted anything, but these have been in the works for some time, and I finally got around to finishing them. Those who remember my work know that I have been working on articulating every 84'-85' autobot car, and although I havent finished them all, I have finally finished all the molds. I just have a few mold repaints like Inferno, Prowl, Sideswipe, etc...

These started out as encore reissues, and the head kit. Their shoulders got balljoints, and were reworked so they sit correctly. They also have balljoint hips, head, and have pivoting elbows and knees. The head kits were reworked not only for balljoints, but I added styrene to the back to give them some depth. I also reworked the seat they mount to, so they dont need to be removed to transform.

yeah, I moved up the crotch section and thought about filling the hole with a black plug because it doesnt line up perfect, but I want all my G1 customs to look like original G1 toys, with minimal custom paint apps, or cosmetic alterations, the originals have holes, so im not gong to change that.

Turboedguy, you do a great service to to all G1 Tfs. Freeing them from their blocky static selves. And giving them articulation.
You turned the most ugly Tf, Ratchet/Ironhide into something that everyone wants. That is a great feat in itself.

I really like these, they can now actually stand next to the other bots and not be embarrassed. Great work. At some point you should give us an updated group shot of all your articulated G1s.
Are you ever going to do your Decepticons as well?

Aww now you're just dangling carrots Turboedguy. No parts-forming either...these are incredible...we missed you!

Now are you going to redo the 1984 catalog?

Wow, G1 Rachet and Ironhide actually looking like transformers now, it's incredible! They look great with their arms in the right places and actual heads. And then, on top of that top notch improvement you went the extra mile and articulated them too (very clean and neatly I might add) you are definitely one of my favorite people now. :thumbs2: These guys with mods like yours are on my "must buy, and fix" to do list of TFs. It just so happens that a beat up old G1 Ratchet was my very first TF figure, a hand me down from my older cousin who died at a very young age of Leukemia before I was born, so this mold (even with it's obvious flaws) is really special to me. I might have to drop you a line when i finally get my hands on them to ask for your guidance on replicating your handy work.
