Function: Decepticon Materials Fabrication
Bio: "How strong the steel, how quick the conquest."
Nothing is safe from him... he will use anything from unliving rock to living robot in making new materials. Uses acids and bonding agents to reduce and recombine almost anything inside mixing drum... a chemistry lab on wheels. As left leg module, combines with fellow Constructicons to form giant robot "Devastator".

I have ThyViper, whole heartily to thank for planting this seed in my head.
I've started consulting with Thy on his build,I've stared at his and frenzy_rumble's builds till I was crosseyed. There are things about both of theirs that I like, which I am trying to incorporate into my build.
I've started on Mixmaster a little while ago,his base mold is Energon Barricade, just like Thy and F_R.First up was to remove his cab, then I started to fully disassemble the figure itself.
So here are the first WIP pics of him,not a whole lot going on yet. EDIT: MORE PICS!
His as disassembled as he can go,so now he's ready for a parts bath! MORE PICS ON PAGE 3!!!!!!!! http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/wanted...mus-wants.html |

There are quite a few versions of both devy and mixmaster.
Generally what you see is a parts-former. A few of us have built a mixmaster that is all one piece and still looks pretty good.
I have 3 versions myself
Good luck. Devastator was my most rewarding custom when finished, all I could do was look at it on my desk and say "Damn"
My second will be on the boards soon. |

Also,can't wait to see your 2nd Devs. http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/wanted...mus-wants.html |

My second is a partsformer...it is just SO much easier.
Waiting on another Primus to mutilate to finish my second one up.
Looking forward to your take on this guy. It is fun to see how everyone interprets the original idea.
f_r has one of the best out there. I stared at frenzyrumble.com for hours trying to get ideas.
EDIT:
Biglots just got a new shipment of universe energon combiner deluxes I just picked up 4 barricades for $9.50 each
Might be worth looking into if you want to play around with some ideas. |

Did they have any other Universe figures, like Sharkticon or anything like that? http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/wanted...mus-wants.html |

I would love to have the energon versions of the ones I have. |

If my Big Lots has any Barricades or Sharkticons they are as good as mine! http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/wanted...mus-wants.html |

Just don't see the appeal personally.
and DAMNIT about the limbs...now I have an extra steamhammer in my collection.
I have butchered a couple stormjets for my devys also. If you follow the ptitvite method you will need a couple energon port/pegs. |
