Kelvin asked me to pull the expression back a bit and to do the beard as a sculpted detail. Once the face is sanded, I'll be adding the new beard. Here's a shot of the current progress and the reference.

I've got the new beard and a bit more paint on. The color scheme is a combination of cartoon and toy accuracy with a little artistic license. I think the flames on the front are well in keeping with the Junkion vibe.

I'm detailing the sides of the legs now. Those wheel wells can be a real pain to cover up. The front of the legs just need plates covering the shins and some knee pads.
I'm still making revisions, so please let me know what you think.

Thanks!
That was my first thought, but I went with thread for it's styleability and ease of tuck-away-ness. The cable's not wire though. It's actually a soft material called jelly chord. It's for bracelet making, but it makes perfect cables. You can find it in the jewelery making isle of craft stores.

where the heck have I been!!!

I still think the beard is too tame. I was hoping you'd use the twist ties that come with newer tf's as his mustache. they could just bend back. but Kelvin's the boss.

Twist ties would make a good beard too, but I'm no sure how well they would hold paint after flexing a few times. Wire dipped in colored Plasti-Dip could work too.
Thanks again for the kind words gents.
Bellyboy, you'll have to fight it out with Kelvin and he's Australian, so good luck to you there!
