hey guys this is my first post here, and my second custom its still a work in progress. all i have done is add some detail in the chest and the blue on his feet, but what makes this guy awesome are his new hands! i just need to figure out how to tighten ball joints then his hands will rock. so if you guys have any suggestions on how to fix the loose ball joints that would be awesome. and let me know what you think thanks.
tightening loose ball joints - pop the ball from the socket - carefully with superglue put a tiny dot of glue at four points around the ball and one on the top of the ball and wait for them to dry. - don't make them too big or they'll run (thicker superglue is best for this) try to keep the spots as hemisphere drops buldgeing on the surface - once they're dry to the touch, leave for another 10 - 20 mins to fully dry - pop them back in the socket. - If they're too tight work them around in the socket and they'll loosen off or if mega tight pop out the socket and lightly sand the dots with a fine grade paper until the joint moved firmly but not to stiff
It's from the 00 Gundam Exia 1/60. I did that before and very few people noticed. Anyway, here's the link.
yes sir you got it, i love the hands they look awesome on op, and i just saw your op the other day and you know what.. it rocks harder then stone. but i was looking at the hands on op and he really looks bad ass with these hands,
Or you could just brush some Future into the joints while the whole thing is assembled. Works wonders and you don't run the risk of permanently sticking parts in place or making them too big to fit into the sockets, etc. Those definitely are some awesome hands (like what TCracker did) but they are way too big for the figure. Look at how he can almost palm his entire head.
yes they do, they are ah little big, but i plan on attaching the hands with neodym magnets that way you can transform him
Not really, the hand can swivel downwards. the joint that connects the wrist and the hand us actually single jointed. transformation is a bit of a squeeze, but manageable.
