I finally got a hold of a Breakway, and immediately started to modify it to Ramjet.

It's a work in progress, I think I chose the wrong joint for the neck, it's a bit long in robot mode, what do you think?

Here's what I did: I glued Breakaway's wing onto his legs. Removed the nosecone. Did some cutting an trimming. Glue and screwed the assembly (that attaches the cockpit/nosecone to the body) from a KO Classics Ramjet, and attached Breakaway's head into the nosecone.

I also gave Ramjet angry eyes.

Sorry for the bad images, I can't find my point and shoot, used my phone.

That is sweet! I may have to do the wing mod on the Thrust figure...if I ever see that one.

And what's the figure you've gotin the background of the second picture? Is that a different mod on breakaway?

Looking good so far. Though you are right, that neck does seem a tad ling.

I applaud the effort to mod the figure to differentiate from Breakaway but the long neck throws off the proportion of the whole bot mode. :)

    Thanks!

That's the plan, when Dirge comes out my conehead seekers will be complete!

I did a minor mod to the Thrust figure, it's here.

That's what I was afraid of. I'm going to look through my pile of parts to see if there's a better joint to use.

Thanks! I love Thrust, has to my favorite ROTF deluxe.

Hah, Breakaway just has such innocent eyes, far too innocent to be an evil Decepticon's!

    I think you're right, Thrust's head would look more like a seeker's.

    Thanks!

I thought I did that! I must have done something wrong, I uploaded all the images as attachments to the post (they're not hosted on a 3rd party site). Can you show me what I did wrong?

do u have any suggestion on how to have decent range of motion on the legs after attaching the wings to them?

Thanks! Lets see if the images show up on this post...

The range of motion shouldn't change with the wings glued to the legs.

Sorry, couldn't find my camera again

    IMAG0274.jpg
    Full range for the front

    IMAG0276.jpg
    Full range for the back

    IMAG0281.jpg
Bad range for the side, but that's the way it was before.

Here's what I did to glue the leg:
    IMAG0287.jpg
Snap off the wings. Then I pulled the blue pegs off with a set of pliers, leaving only the pins (which I will remove later). The pins are circled here.

    IMAG0294.jpg
I glued the wings on to the legs in Alt mode at these two points.

EDIT: Okay, I checked, these images are uploaded when I made this post, and they show up just fine! Whoo-hoo
