My take on ROTF Skids.
Pretty much straight-up repaints. I tried to make 'em look clean in alt mode while dirty and weathered in bot mode. I used some subtle blending and highlighting techniques on the bot mode parts for this. I also added decals for the license plate and autobot symbols on the hubcaps.

very well done, I like the color combination on his legs a lot, his feet are a nice improvement. I think Ill wait untill I have the movie on DVD before I start painting this one.
but I imagine this repaint will give me a nice sense of direction. so I'll bookmark these pics.  | |

The movie is fairly logical, you just have to apply your own. I'm tired of people complaining about movies in which every single little detail isn't spelled out for them.

Skids are supposed to have feet with toes just like Mudflap's, for example. So you kinda have to improvise with regards to the color scheme.

I used some blending, some black washes (wiped off for that messy look), and then re-did some in the original color because they were too dirty and looked off from the rest of the clean alt mode.
