Listen, anyone who makes a run at a combiner is OK with me...regardless if I post on their thread or not. Aside from a complete scratchbuild, getting a combiner to work is a tough feat. I hope you complete this guy with no problems at all...and if you hit a snag, give me a PM. I love these things. Now go kick some ass so I can be jelous of what you made:wink: .

Yea, man.. Whomever sculpted and casted that head is amazing.. :)

I would use ultra magnus, but to do so will somewhat take away from my ability to make the OTFCC Defensor at will, which is something that as it currently stands I should be able to do when it's all said and done.

Taking a little bit from what I see from Hasbro, my Prime will have to have a few pegs for which the other pieces will connect, but overall it should be stable. Between Struxx helping make the proper joints for the legs and neoshifters lending their support for the arm joints, it should be ok.

I did consider using sideways, but decided on Axer for a few reasons:
    1) He looks like groove in alt mode
    2) I'm somewhat picky about the proportions of the vehicles and it always bugged me that that Groove was an 8 foot high motorcycle.. This one while still big compared to what he shuld be just feels like it will work better.
    3) I thought of a really fantastic idea for a paint scheme for the head so I don't need to sculpt something (which I'm not really good at)
    4) If I decide to play around with lights his bike is set up perfectly to get some!

While the blades arm is going to be bigger than the Groove arm, the overall length from the shoulder to the tip of the finger should be the same. It'll just end up being that Blades has an extended shoulder pad due to the nose of the chopper, and Groove side won't.. Of course I could always try to find some parts for an RID prime and toss some kind of missile launcher on Groove's side.

    We'll see!!!

Now if only the rest of my parts would arrive...

This looks very promising, and I admit that I'm intrigued where you'll go with this :thumb

A Quick update to the project..
I've been waiting for a LONG TIME for some parts to arrive, not sure if it's coming but i've changed my mind on some of the body parts.

I think one of hte classics lambos would make a better streetwise, and i'm still figuring out exactly what to do with Groove.

I did manage to score some custom protectobots off the net done by TFW's Victorysabre.
I plan to touch up the bots I'm getting from him to make look how I want them to, and using at least streetwise and blades in the combiner.

I may swap axer for Victorysaber's groove (I've never seen that transformer in person, so I'll figure that out after).

Saves me a little painting and gets me some parts I need (with a more accurate looking blades). So I can't complain. I'll be hitting this project hard again soon!
