after seeing so many and wanting one to add to my collection, (but not waiting to pay outrageous prices for one) i decided to just get started. i tried to plan it out as well as possible before i started. but once i actually got started, things just flow better when you work on the fly. i probably have 10hrs or less into this. A lot of time is in waiting for my cordless dremel recharge and waiting for glue or mighty putty to dry. So this is is after 2 weekends:

i do have the arms, I just want to get the legs done first so that i can adjust hte proportions. i need to find parts to build MixMaster before i can go on. so this will probably be on hold till i can get a mixer.

BIG thanks to Ptitvite for posting his tech specs, i pretty much just went off that. Oh, and thanks to zfeakye for telling me what that baby blue part everyone was using on Devy. And finally, thanks for everyone on the board for selling me the parts need to build this guy.

Devastator might just be the first custom I get around to finishing as well. Everything's looking good so far.

But for the mixer, I'm using a Tonka cement mixer. It should be a pretty widely available toy. I simply unscrewed the whole back piece off of the truck part. It's got die-cast parts along with a plastic bottom and barrel. Haven't quite figured out the cab myself, but I'll find something.

Kind of nice to see I'm not the only one just starting on this. LOL Can't wait to see how you do.
