My Seeker design is a bit meh at the mo, so I'm pressing on with something I've had in the back of my mind for some time.
My first ever post on here was of a custom I'd made a while back - an admittedly quite poorly modeled movie-verse concept Bruticus. It wasn't great, needless to say. So, now I've got really into the swing of things and have improved my renderring skills
a lot, I have decided to give him a go again.
What's the point, you may ask? Well, Bruticus holds a special place in my heart - he was easily my favourite toy as a kid - and ever since Devastator was put on screen in
ROTF, I've been thinking, 'God, I
know how Bruticus can work, if I can just show it.' I was also very inspired by ::ONE::'s superb design job in the Design a
TF contest. I'd love to have done a model of that design, however I'm not nearly skilled enough! I like to think of this as a 'proper' of version of my original idea.
As with all of my stuff, it won't be transformable - I much prefer the freedom of sculpture, but I will embark on a transformable transformer one day! However, I'm hoping to make him pose-able, but it really depends on the quality of the kit parts I use (Tamiya are the best I find, in terms of quality of plastic).
