Hi guys! While I was working on Jetfire, I was also working on Chromia! I was hoping to repaint her when I got Arcee, but one of my Youtube Subscribers was asking me if I were to ever repaint her, so I decided to fulfill his request.

I did the same things to Jetfire. She took longer though.

2 hours- drybrush metallic on her pieces
2 hours- drybrush silver, dark metallic blue
30 minutes- repaint bike head, disassemble, repaint headlights,
    1 hour- drybrush dark blue
1 hour- repaint stand and combiner tab

In person, her cybertronian symbols can be vaguely seen.

Hope you like her! Don't forget to C&C!!!!!!

YOur work looks good, but I have to say, you need to work on your photography. Most of your pics are out of focus. What kind of camera are you using to shoot these?

The silver really brings out the details, but the blue paint is really flat and fake looking on a bike like that.
Do you have any glossy/shiny paints?

Try adjusdting your settings. Maybe ease take them outside in natural light. That camera should be giving you better results.

Does the camera have a mode called Macro or close up, they will give the best results. Flashes are bad, as stated above outside in natural light works well, if you can't do that try using other lights to light the figure. I use 2 desklamps with a piece of A4 paper in front of each lamp.

A tripod does wonders too, I use a cheapo from ebay. You can also use the timer to avoid moving the camera when you press the button.

Nice work on the repaint too. I thought I was pumping them out but you have a full on production line going.

    Hakka.

Tried the macro setting, maybe i'll try natural light to take her pictures after I apply the first coat of paint on her sister (yup, Arcee is a WIP)

You're work is awesome too. You have mad led skills :)

Thanks. Drybrushing is apparently my forte. ;)
