This is my take on the Devy. I didn't add the devy "balls" due to personal preference, so this devastator isn't really that movie accurate.
Mods
1. Tried the make the face look more menacing by splitting the upper part of the face and added some "horns" made from pla-plates. Added additional 'Teeth' in the upper jaws. Extended the wires and added additional LEDs for the eyes.
2. Made minor mods to the head to allow it to tilt upwards rather than facing down.
3. Made a pair of shoulder plates to hide scavengers track, and make it a little closer to the movie version.
4. Made minor adjustments leg and waist joints to allow Devy to pose on all fours like a gorilla.
5. Made a desert diorama of the scene where Devy was sucking in everything in sight, hence the title of "The sucker". (Don't have any skid or Mudflap of the correct scale, so I had to make do with any available toys and guess who had to make the contribution.. lol)
Phototaking for Devy was really a nightmare. I don't have a place big enough to take the photos of this "sucker", so I had to take the photos in a poorly lit area.
Hope you like it. Threads for the constructicons in alt mode:

It probably isn't my place to say this and spoil the fun, but I found the greenish tinge to many of the photos slightly off. Don't get me wrong, this is not a nitpick but I think with the appropriate colour profile Dev's colours would look better, as in more movie accurate.
Like hey, the recent post of mixmaster worked out great!
Of course, you probably had a reason for the pictures coming out this way, but whatever it is, I love your work |
