For anyone (un)lucky enough to find this figure I have found an easy way to make it look less like the hunk of garbage it is. According to the instructions her lower torso is a twisted mass of awful, and they meant it to be that way!! I tried for quite a while to make it look decent with the hinges/joints that were built in, but I found nothing but uglier poses, so I decided to fix it. The fix is super easy, 1 cut to a ball joint socket and she looks tons better. just twist her into the position you want and decide how far you want the body to lean and make a small cut to the socket that attaches the wheel section. here are 2 views of the spot to cut, it cuts easily with a exacto knife and is very stable, with no effect on the transformation. here is the results what do you think?
Nice. This way she won't look like T-2000 being blasted by a granade launcher. I'm gonna do this after I bought the triplets.
I love the new look, but is it going to mess with the 3 cycle combo? But then again, that is probably going to look like a hunk of junk anyways so go for it!
Don't you mean T-1000? heh, I think she looks okay, but I'm not modding mine if I ever find her simply because that's how HASBRO intended the toy to be.
I dont think there is going to be a "official" combination according to hasbro >.> I'm glad someone did this mod, arcee's horrible posture was really bugging me.
thanks for the feedback. This was driving me nuts from the minute i opened the package. The good thing about it is you can still transform it the way hasbro "meant it" to look (like crap) with no issues whatsoever.
yeah man, id rather something look good than be accurate any day. that mod has made me want to buy the figure now
