WIP: Rotf Sinister Magnus

Sinister Magnus is FINISHED

He's painted out of a ROTF Voyager class Optimus Prime.

I used these paints:

Tamiya Flat White
Tamiya Clear Red
Tamiya Chrome Silver
Humbrol Chrome Silver
Humbrol Flat yellow, brown, US tan, coal black
Humbrol Metallic Copper
Humbrol Varnish

I also shaved a lot of the inside of the engine-part, to prevent rubbing.

The back-wheel-wells are nolonger transforming (glued 'em stuck), because it's too much trouble to shave them, and not shaving 'em down would rub the paint off.

I decided NOT to clearcoat his robotparts, only his vehiclemode, because it turned a little yellow-ish on the white. That's a small shame for the truck.

Backstory:
Jetfire was -one- of the old-skool Terran Transformers, but he's not the only relic.

Sinister Magnus, a follower of the Fallen, also remained on Earth, to protect the Sun Harvester. He awoke, although to late. Still, he took a Terran form and has plans to continue the work The Fallen started.

Although I have to admit, I'm greatly inspired by the Ultra Magnus by CalCustoms. When I saw that for the first time, I thought to myself "I want that. I'm gonna make that."

Of course, I didn't want to make a copy, although I really loved the design, so I'm giving it a twist. When it's finished and you guys see the alt-mode, I hope I'm going to blow you away.

It's turnin' out great. The paint apps look really clean.

I kinda like the colour scheme layout. White, reddish and black. A nice combi. How does it look in vehicle mode? Will the colour variations be seen as well? Either way, very nice concept!

@Sabsabby6000: Vehicle mode not touched yet, I just re-assembled him for the picture, but I have some neat ideas, of which I hope I can execute him. I'm not super confident of my painting skills (I saw your interview, so thank you very much >_<), but I hope my drawingskills shan't falter.

@mampy (Don't know how to be creative with this lulz): Thanks for the compliment. Yea, I was worried about how the white would turn out, it's still harder to paint than, say, metallic something.

Working on the head design. Those eyes are a pain to do, must've redone 'em like 5 times, until I came up with using a needle with some paint on it.
