The paint application looks really smooth, which is saying something since you painted him predominantly in white (which is as hard a color to paint as any). I especially love how clean the alt mode looks. Great work in that regard. My only crit is that I just don't think that the G1 homage color scheme works very well with the movie aesthetic in bot mode. The flat white thighs, arms, hands, etc would have worked very well with the blocky, flat panel look of the Classics figures. But with all the "techno-organic" detail on Movie Prime's robot parts, it's personally very hard to imagine them in anything but a worn silver/metal color with tons of drybrushing and washes. Just my personal preference though.
very cool=] alt mode is very clean=].. my only con, would be that the head is 2 white.maybe aadd some blue on it?, cause rite now he face looks like a ghost lol jk
I like what you've done here and as the others said the paint applications are very smooth. I also did an Ultra Magnus using this mold But I tried to go more G1 colours with a little movie flaire! I think it looks great! No cons to it. Though, I think you shoul paint dome detail to blend it together more. Like some gold, silver, "metal", gunmetal, like "robotic" parts. Wires, vents, all the parts on a 50 foot robot or a real semi would have. I like that darker metallic blue too, Mac
Damn, the white looks amazing. So clean and pure, like it came that way. Would've been cool to see it predominantly white in alt mode as is really looks good.
I might do a new one, airbrushed this time. I'll consider doing it all white like MasterPiece Ultra Magnus.
Nice an clean. My only crit would be the blue seems too dark when next to a white. I think a grey wash over the white would give the entire figure a darker mood and fit the blue better.
I'd take that critique seriously if not for your Sig Pic witch contains blue/dark blue and White. j/k. I might try that with ROTF Prime Mold.
Great work! Now, you just need to figure out how to build a trailer than transforms in to the Ultra Magnus amor (just kidding)
