My take on ROTF Bumblebee. Pretty much just a boring straight repaint, but I decided to dirty up the robot parts to give it a little more of that movie vibe. I was debating on whether to post this or not because I'm sure everyone has seen enough BBs already, but yeah since I already took the pics I decided to share it anyway.

UPDATE 9/22/09
Added stuff:
- Swapped his cannon arm with the right hand of a junker BB '08 I had lying around.
- Modded the TFTM BB cannon so it can magnetically attach to the right arm.
- Painted the rims for movie accuracy.
- Added decals - forehead autobot symbol, car license plate, and small autobot logos for the hubcaps.
Oh yeah, thanks to amuromkii (for making the decals) and to flix for the image files he used on his decals for BB. You guys rock!

Yeah HA BB seems like a really nice candidate for a repaint but I'm not really getting him because he's grossly out of scale with the rest of the mainline bots... that and he's really expensive. I was actually thinking of doing that removable roof mod that one of the Radicons did to his BB and put them in the back to create the lower wings, but decided against it because his arms look too thin without the roof pieces there. | |
