This is spot on. Works great for the Movieverse style! My only complaint is that there is non-transforming primus kibble in there. I don't think there is a good way around that though.

This is fantastic. Just one little pet peeve, and this kind of goes for alot of custom combiners on this site: Is it possible to store the limbs(i.e. the hands and the connectors that hols everything together) in the individual robot modes? It's just, it almost seems more like a parts former with everything you need to use to combine him. Not to sound mean, this is still fantastic

Believe me I tried.... the movie figures are so "skinny" with their parts, so there was no where to hide them. I am working on a new version with a Leader prime that may fix this issue!

k i hate to bring this up to all the nit pickers, but if you go back to the g1 cartoon and look at menasor the cars did pretty much just attach to a limb. the upper cars formed upper arms while there were lower arms from motormaster (i would guess) and the lower cars just slapped on the back of some legs that appeared from somewhere. here is a link to show.

YouTube - G1 TRANSFORMERS "Threat of Menasor" English version

watch whole clip or jump to 7:11 and watch to the end

and to chime in, i like this, yeah elbows would be cool, but at the same time, its your take and thats all that matters, good job and i've been trying this too, and its alot easier to sit and watch others make something awesome, its a completely different monster to do it yourself.

It's one thing to try to be "G1 accurate" (if that's what zildijian was trying to do) with colors and general look, but it's another to try to be exactly what G1 was, which is a brick. You can't rationalize that a custom can be a brick (not saying that this custom is) because the G1 counterpart was a brick. Classics and MPs all are true to their G1 counterparts but are much improved in articulation and aesthetics. If zildijian likes what he did then that's great. Some of us are just merely suggesting what can be done to make it look better in our eyes. Even you agreed that elbows would be cool (which is exactly one of my suggestions).

Where your's and mine are.... he has fully functioning elbows. As I said when I get new photos I will show more. It takes a TON of time to transform/combine him.

See I agree to a point, the one thing that the movie-verse has done is change the complete look and feel for most characters. I for one hate the fact that the whole term "transformers" is basically worthles and forgotten in the movies by most of the deceticons (megatron, ravage, fallen, etc).... but it gives bashers the freedom to creat any look they want without being held to "accuracy".

And I always look for bigger and better ways to do things..... that is why I am trying this with a leader Prime as well.... to hopefully eliminate the need for "kibble".

    Looks great!

But do I understand correctly that when people make a combiner using Cybertron Primus as a centerpiece. This is basicly kibble leftover?
It isn't a character on its own, right?
