This is the figurerealm.com rockem sockem robots contest prize! I did a second version of steeljaw as a contest prize for figurerealm. Com rockem sockem robots contest. I tried to make him a little more diverse than the first one. I used a robot master leo as my base and proceeded with the repaint. He was a simple repaint that was mainly yellow and some black detailing. This is not a 100% accurate version but more of my take on the character.

yo shin what was the base figure for this? the bot mode looks familiar... this really is better than your first one done with energon battle ravage.  

 

I think its called Victory Leo. I snagged a couple and finally found a use for them. I beleive these are from the Robot Masters line.

Yeah, Victory Leo can combine with Star Saber into Victory Saber. fun fact: Victory Leo is actually Ginrai.

I really like your work (as I always do), but I have to say I'm just not feeling this one as "Steeljaw", mostly because I still see Victory Leo there so much.

 

I do agree with this. It's still yellow and black with the same weapons. Steeljaw is usually gold iirc, with chromed/metal missile launchers.
I'm honestly surprised you didn't go with gold, as you've had some great effects with gold paint in the past.
