For those who know about the WST Insecticons, I have to take a break. Jarrod worked on these for about a year, and so have I, and I still think there's a year to go!

Meanwhile, this is what I decided to start today, to give myself a change of scenery. As always, non-transformable WST size, and this one will be a fully digital production using 3D printing. I'll paint it with acrylic, of course, but that's all I'm doing for it that's hands-on personally :)

You have a 3D printer? The Grapple looks great - tho I can't say I'm a fan of non-transforming transformers. I've always wondered, can you use those things to reproduce original accessories? How durable (or fragile) are the finished pieces after paint and clear coat?

So are we seeing that it will have shoulder rotation and wrist rotation (by default, with pegge in hands)? Also what's the shaded part behind him, Grapples, er grapple? One last thing, will there be both fists and one rocket, so he can be a lefty or righty?

Alrighty, interrogation is over! Looks like a great project, and do you have a link to the insecticons? THX:thumbs2:

No 3D printer here - sending out through Shapeways.com. Check it out.

Only sending in for one missile one fist - that is a separate crane piece to allow painting before gluing. The gun's in the pic too :)

The model I designed can easily be ordered by anyone once I order it. I will be making a wheel-less truck mode too (so that I can add turning wheels later).

Already ordered a Perceptor in both modes, but haven't gotten it yet, so I can't report on materials. I will post pics when I have them.
