I wanted to recreate the detachable blades but the ones he come with are really just the sides of the car doors and aren't really accurate. So with a bit of styrene sheeting I constructed new slip-on wrist blades for him. I also removed the foot covers and glued them on to the front of the car permanently and added various hoses and sculpt to make him look more detailed. One battle-ready paint job later and Sideswipe looks as if he's been cutting up Decepticons all day long! **Please review board Rule #7 and the Radicons Guidelines and Etiquette regarding hyperlinks. ~Radicons Staff** "If my father were alive, I could make him proud!"

I'm really gonna have to do that foot mod to mine. |

Its been a long time since we last talked about customizing. I've recently visited your post about " RotF Sideswipe with scratch built arm blades" at TFW2005.com. I just like to ask any idea and maybe you can help me again on customizing. I have attached a picture of your customized Sideswipe and put circles on some of his parts, I just like to know how did you came up with that customized color? (see the encircled parts of the picture of the attached file) What color combinations did you used on those parts resulting to that customized parts.
Regards,
Ian |

Jersey Collection Count: changing every day | Yeah Jin, nice concept, and great execution, but I'd have to give this one a 5 on the scale to 10. They look a little big on his arms. It's the second time I have seen that foot mod. It's growing on me. Might have to do that to the next one.
