TFA Earth Mode Arcee

This is my interpretation of what I think TFA Arcee's Earth Mode would look like. She is made from a TFA Jazz, with some mods to the fenders and doors. The head is custom made and has an earth magnet neck, that gives her the ability to swivel, plus it fits into the car mode a little easier this way. Paint is Model makers Acryl. I really like how she turned out.

Very nice colors and the mold does oddly fit her, but the face isn't really all that appealing, I'm sorry to say. It looks, well, bloated to the point where it resembles that of a frog.

Agree on the face issue. Everything else is good, and then you get to the head and I just want to check for her adam's apple

Be a good swap out whenever the Arcee animated figure comes out though.

Smile

I was going for a more Anime look with her, that's why the head is so big but thanks for the honesty.

Heys, I'm currently doing something similar to a figure of mine so I just wanna encourage you. Don't give up.

But firstly, what was the material used for the head? Epoxy? Papier mache?

A dremel with a mini head works wonders if you go on it gently. And don't look down on toothpicks, blu tack and fine-grit sandpaper. They also help alot, especially for the nooks and crannies in the helm.

You are going for the anime look. May I interest you to learn from the masters. There are 9 parts to it and I learnt greatly from this series.
(To the mods: I hope linking such stuff is legal here.)

All the best! Let's share results soon

No offence but if you recolor the head..........it would make a great Movie verse Bumblebee gone animated.
