well the holes are the hard part, drilling a straight perfect hole like that for the pins is difficult. they have to be solid, no hole for the pins.

That would work for me also. I really need that hand if I plan on buing your set of arm replacements. To many things to buy and so little money.

No holes works for me! I have many ways of getting around that. Also I don't think it be pretty hard to drill striaght holes with a Drimel set on lowest setting, and a small drill bit.

So, you've glued the running boards (is that what they're called?) to the doors.

I've gone ahead and added Alt Grimlock seats to the arms to replace the poor excuse for seats that came with BB. They have a very similar feel to the CG arm-shields and give BB actual seats. Grimmy's seats work very well as they fold flat against the arm.

Problem is, what is another way to attach the boards so that they are not simply glued to the doors, which kind of ruins the look of the alt mode.

I was thinking of attaching them at the opposite end to the peg and hole and having them on stiff wire. That would have the added benefit of kind-of-sort-of giving BB the other set of wings on his back.

What are your thoughts?

But when you open the doors in alt-mode, they go with the door. They don't stay in place.
