Thanks for the model link, I might just go that route so I don't have to buy two Jetfires, but I still want the chest gaurds that Jetfire comes with, Jetfire shouldnt be so bad without those if i strip them from 'em

you should carve in another little groove in the foot socket so the peg on the ball joint can hold better

This is brilliant so far. Can't believe that you can afford to scratch 2 leader class figs, but I admire the idea.

I see two ways that you might be going with this, but I'm wondering which one:
1. You're going to make a non-transformable figure who looks real badass and movie accurate.
2. You're making a set of armour that can mount to the OP figure to power him up.

I like the latter better as it would not require you to have 2 LC OPs, but then perhaps you'd like two. I don't really see how one could make it both accurate and tranformable into two bots. Plus, it wasn't as though the whole Jetfire was added to OP in the film. More like, what remained of him/the more useful parts.

It's number 1. I'm afraid making armour to fit on Leader prime is possible, just it would increase the ammount of time needed on this project by 3.

I am happy at how its turning out so far though.

this project is sweet, and it looks like it's coming along great! On a less happy note, I wanted to let you know that you need to attach ALL of your project images to the thread. The requirement that prevents you from posting the thread with zero attachments isn't there so you can just upload one single photo, and then link to an off-site source for the rest.
Radicons aren't limited to just Transformers. . . .
