For the vehicles i have to agree with you, maybe some bigger cement drum would be better for mixmaster, but when i have tried this soluction in "leg mode" it ruin the aestetich a bit, hiding the foot and stretching out too much. Because i prefer a good looking combined mode i have tried this way, and the cement barrel isn't so bad after all ^_^.
The same thing for bonecrusher tracks, to have bigger ones the only way that i have found is to pin one end of the tracks on the remanent of the front pin wheels. However, doing this way will limit the mobility of the arm in combined mode unless you fold up the tracks like in Bruticus tanks robot mode, but even in this case it will ruin the aestetichs of the combined arm in my opinion, and the movement is even limited a bit. In this case however i think that small tracks may be appropriate for this vehicle and so i don't have any regrets ^_^. Anyway, i want to see your solution too, maybe you can find a way to solve these problem that i may be not have considered and i can incorporate your ideas in my Devastator ^_^
