painted his terrible grey bits in Black. so I could paint silver or metalic colour over him.
not sure about painting his helmet black tho..
Again, just black somehow makes the figure pretty cool.
I opened up his windshield and painted the inside. I think I screwed up on putting back his chest, as the spring dont seem to work...
Updated some metalic works on him.
still not finished yet. |

I didn't unscrew every part. only part I unscrewed was his chest bit. |

shame about the spring, I don't mess with the inner workings of these leader classes, usually when I take apart anything with a spring, I see a spring fly across the room, and am like "shit, where did that come from" |

"gun metal" works pretty good, thats what i used when i started painting figues.
i my case i used normal paint from hobby shop,(double star paint) try mixing a little bit of light blue with silver and burnt metal, it really feels like an alien metal
i unscrewed the chest piece but didnt seem to come off, what did you do ??yank it out ?
i'm obsessed to finish the repaint with the chest piece painted ....but still can't find a way.. |

BTW, nice work walt7. Are you finishing it right now? Or are you reading my post? Coz if you are.. then can you tell me how you get that part the back of the lower leg painted? Did you manage to open the blue panel? If you did, can you tell me how? Thanks! |
