Today I was playing with the Jetfire I had just bought and I found by mistransforming it slightly, you can get what I feel to be better combination mode that is more movie accurate. All I did was I took Jetfire's arms and rotated them behind Jetfire's jet engines. There are also two small panels that always pop-off (if you had the toy, you know which ones) and I found that they can be pinched between Prime's shoulder pads and the silver canisters. Hope you guys enjoy it and let me know what you think.

Last by not least, even my friend's kitten enjoyed the new leader toy.

the main reasoning for not leaving it that way though was that you could really see Jetfire's arms in a bad way.

I wish they just would have made the engines come apart like they did in the movie

The kitten went in on her own cause she's a kitten. She enjoys going into small spaces and playing in them. I now leave the open box on the floor and she takes regular naps in it. She was not treated cruelly and she is not depressed.

 

No, not really. If you do bend Optimus' knee, he can't stand properly. Though the knee can bend. I have yet to find any good posses with Optimus' legs bent at any angle. However, I'm sure there is some weird way you can bend his legs and get a pose. I just haven't found it yet.

I was so dissapointed in the combo when I saw it assembled and in person that I repackaged it and returned it to wal-mart.
Hasbro missed the mark in such a huge way with this one.
I really hope they do something with a deluxe version.
Doesn't have to be perfect...but slightly close would be nice.
