I whipped this thing up in about one hour. I wanted a little more reason behind the parts so I used some jet turbines, gun magazines, air filters, some parts from the vehicle mode (folded up seat for the cushioned stock, headlamps for the targeting scope etc). I didn't want to go with the CG, instead, I went with a design that kiiiind of brings to mind the shape of the G1 rifle. The spring on top also acts as a hook so it can be stored on Prime's back. There's also a tiny Autobot symbol there since I used some parts from the first Leader class Prime. I'll probably paint it up later; add some scorch marks travelling up the barrel, paint the seat-stock....
Nice! That's a very well executed custom. Looks good enough to be part of the actual release. I personally like the blue light on the side. What's the barrel made from?
Thanks. The barrel is made from the central pillar of a cd holder. I cut the hole in the top though. I'm very Heath Robinson with my customs really.
