What's LWB without his maker?

Took Sentinel Prime's mug, separated the halves and removed the fake light piping feature. Opened up those squinty little eyes with the hobby knife, bent styrene to fit the new larger openings. Sanded the chin down to remove the molded-in detail, and scribed a small chin line in. Carved the antennae from some soft plastic/rubber Bionicle pieces, attached them with glue. Removed the "ears."

I'm considering scribing a toothy grin on, if I feel brave.

I've always thought that it wasn't much of a coincidence that Townsend Coleman, the voice of The Tick, was providing the voice of Sentinel Prime, who just happens have a striking resemblance to the Big Blue Ball of Justice. Can't wait to see this finished!

 

you do know that now you have to somehow merge his sword and sheild together into some sort of spoon weapon don't you?   he looks great, I'd try one myself if I could find a Sentinel Prime.
