ROTF Devastator Plans Update June 26 2009 Iv got 2 ROTF Constructicons Demolisher and Rampage and hopefully get a Mixmaster from a fellow board member. Ohh and before anyone says "OOhhh but they have the Supreme Class Devy just buy that if you want to have a ROTF Devastator." I Will, but i would also like to have one that goes from all Mode + Limbs. Update a bit of an update i was able to pick up both Mixmaster and Longhaul soo in the next couple of weeks ill have them in hand and then well see what can be done, 4 down 2 or 3 more to gooo Update June 16 2009 Just recived my Voy. Longhaul in the mail today, been playin around with it soo it can have a leg mode. still waiting on Mixmaster. Update June 26 2009 after what seems like 4EVER!! i finally got my Mixmaster, and i loveee him lol playing around and using some ideas from other members who have posted there WIP pics on Devastater, i got this, i might be using the FAB Longhaul as you will see in the pic, untless there is a way to make Voyager Longhaul more........thin so he'll be in scale with Rampage, if not.....well thank god they made such an awsome FAB!! LMK what you guys think so far?
I think yours is the first attempt I've seen that uses Voyager Longhaul instead of the FAB. I look forward to the finished product.
Thanks its been pretty....rough... they way i have it transformed and "combined" with the other 2 it looks like hes got a swollen leg soo ill have to work on it a little bit more... i was going take the pic this morning but....as you can read from my other reply^^^^^^^^ i need to work on the leg more still but as soon as i figure something better i will defently post a new pic
I knew that Longhaul would work! rampage is barely smaller than Scavenger in Alt mode. anyway I am banking the 7th constructicon will be the upper thighs/waist. that is how I am doing my devs. regardless if they make him or not. the EZ devastator works much better. the Supreme devs is just a mock-up, I dont like the legs connecting to the crotch like that
Wow exactly what I had in mind when I purchase my voyagers also!!! I've been thinking of also making my own devastator!!!
i have to agree with you AM, the way the legs connect on Supreme Devs looks....worng...2 me it dosent work, but im probly gunna get him anyways lol but as for Longhaul.....i need to work on him still....hes still not the right size when next to Rampage, Any ideas? Good luck on yours! cant wait to see it
i think(and this is what i was gonna try) you should try to get the longhaul leg to have a couple of big toes. maybe by folding his arms out and turning them sideways or upsidedown? maybe thatll make it look smaller. that and its what the movie leg has. and/or getting some of longhaul moved up into the torso to get that leg to be smaller. i dont have the toy though so im going by what i can see. you could try to mod him though. cutting in spots that wont affect either modes. im curious what people are gonna do about hightower. there seems to be no plans for him to be made.
Its to early to beleive Hightower isent "in the works" besides we've only hit wave 2 and 3 on the way, maybe he'll be in wave 4 or 5...anyways, im going to play around with longhaul some more but i like the idea of using his arms for toes. but im not going to cut him up untill i get another Lonhaul. yes he does fit well as a leg but im sure theres a way to move that bulk and get him in scale with Rampage.
Well, while I like how you've planned out the body and legs, there's still the issue of how you're gonna support the Scrapper and Hightower arms. If they're made. The thing is, Hasbro's been said to have mentioned that not all of the constructicons will get individual toys.
im not sure exactly how im going to transform him as i havent recvied Mixmaster yet hopefully b4 or after the movie gets released this wednesday......wait? ITS COMING OUT THIS WEDNESDAY! WOOT WOOT ...Anyways, when i recive my Mixmaster then ill be playing around with it to get a good head mode. if they dont release it then....ill be making my own Hightower and scrapper then! and ill be making sure there Voyager class ahhh yess the curious part is who they all are?
