Premium Blackout

I had posted this guy before, however after he sat on my shelf for a bit I just didn't like what I had done anymore...so he got a re-haul. This is actually one of, if not my favorite repaints I've done. Sadly, all I have to takes pics with is my iphone's camera and it just doesn't do the repaint justice.

I used a light flat grey color as his base (looks a lot like a primer actually) and then a few heavy flat black washes over top. All the edges of his alt mode (and some 'bot mode parts, ie. arm bits and legs) then got a silver drush brush to make him look a bit rough around the edges. He also has some leftover silver, gun metal and copper on his legs from my original repaint, but they've been dulled down with the washes. I wound up leaving the arms in a flat black, and while I know it doesn't add much, I figured he needed some bit of black (other than his head) to earn his name.
