Hey, after seeing the concept art for a proposed Botcon exclusive of BW Megatron from RiD Megatron, I always wanted one. Well, I got a headless RiD Megatron, so I figured I'd make my own. Not a whole lot planned, just some re-sculpting on transmetal Megatron's head (first time sculpting) and modding the dragon heads to look a little more like Transmetal 2 Megatron's dragon head, and of course a paint job.
My biggest hurdle right now is that when I received the body, I thought just the head was missing, but the sliding piece connecting the head to the torso (as well as being the piece integral to hiding the head in alt. mode) is missing too. I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that yet, hopefully someone has that piece.

 

hey man i have a spare RID megs taht ive been wanting to do this exact bash on!! mine has the pieces yours is missing as well. but ive since given up trying on this one i just dont have the skill dude, if you need the parts i could always send them your way. also try switching out the spark crystal for a blue vehicon one. i did that on mine and its really easy plus it looks fantastic with the blue on that molds chest. plus i fugred if he Megatron reborn after beast machines he might as well still be a vehicon. why not?

 

Hmm, I might have to have a go at this myself (though I have plenty of potential projects lined up), I have a broken TM megatron so why not.
