today's update!
Installed the rear wheels/arm ports. Might take em out and fidget with them a little, but they work, and the wheels still spin! kitbash/
Finally got the footnubs off. MAN that was a bitch. I saved the pin from the second one, and for some reason neglected to save the first. i ended up using the pin in the neck, and would've liked two. Oh well, found a replacement.

ended up flipping the collar but not the stalk. Might not have taken a pic of that.
Not sure what i'm gonna do with the BH shins that I wanna use as Menasor abs. I cut bits off the sides of the BH chest, to allow it to fit between the wheels. I'll smooth it out later.
I would like to attach them to the chest so that they stay there in truck mode like this:
I think i'll put styrene sheets coming off the arms to finish the shell of the trailer, if i go this way. Or i might find a way to put the shins where the hole in the trailer is like this:
Or somewhere else. Anyone got any ideas?
I think the codpiece might look good as a rear bumper:
here's some VERY loose mockups of torso mode with the add ons.
shins as abs with kneecaps up:
shins as abs with kneecaps down. I kinda like this one better because it's wider up top, near the chest, and slims down as it goes to the waist. either way, i'd probably close up the gaps on each one with styrene or putty.
Opinions?
here's a ROUGH look at the trailer attached to the body in truck mode.
still not sure exactly what position i will put this in (the connection).
Here's what might be the trailer's spot in robot mode.
He might be back heavy, but i'd rather have a big backpack than a partsforming trailer.
One last thing, and i'm looking to the pros on this -
the BH shoulders bunch up inside the trailer a HINT too high. I have two choices.
Shave off the joint and lose the pin that connects the front of the trailer to the back halves. to compensate, glue that back together. there's enough square inchage (?) to make a good connection with some plastic welder. I'm just not sure with the transformations, it would stand up to multiple conversions.
2nd choice - lengthen the notches in the shoulders - the hole between the front and back. this would bring that hole, down through the top of the star, and keep the same square shape.
here's a clear shot of the rectangular notches on the arms (they allow the arms to raise like jumping jacks)
I'm leaning towards the second choice, i have a feeling it will affect the arms much less than losing the pin joint on the trailer.
Thoughts, crits, advice are all welcome!!
