I just give em' random rarely used names so i can avoid having to paint..I suck at it...lol here's my actual first custom..i use actual since i had started working on this one before my oilslick figure, but got stuck on figuring out how to attach the hands. I had always liked the tftm ss body mold, and decided to take apart my thundercracker down to the torso and work around it. Its the torso, with the modified helmet of the classics jetfire/threadbolt on the head and neck balljoint. His head turns around and has the face shields from an armada galvatron to make it look like an engine. The arms are a combo of tftm voyager prime and tftm stockade. The punch gimmick is removed, i just kept the sliding roof rack thing because it liked it. The legs are from voyager prime, just cut and hinged differently. The feet come from a universe blades figure, just had to fit them in. Its close to being done..I plan on adding some hinges so the wings go around the arm joints, and turning the whole front of the airplane into his gun, which still can swing around and attach if you want to put it away. I know its really messy again..Im getting a bit better with the dremel but still a novice. Any C&C is appreciated. Thanks
WOW! this is really cool man, you've taken a movie bot and made it classics worthy, but it still looks cool as a movie figure. great job man
Ok. THAT is awesome! If there is a way to fatten the upper arms and thighs that would look really cool.
Looks like the only things wrong with the mold that you haven't fixed already would be his birthing hips
I would love to see you take a stab at painting him up! Looks like great engineering, now take it up a notch! You can do eet!
I dunno why smokejumper, I guess since he has no real fiction on him I can take alot more creative freedom. sure, go for it, I actually changed the wings to a swept forward cyclonus style after a few broken hinges, lots of cursing and cut fingers while trying to get the wing sections to wrap around the arm supports. (See pic) I think Im gonna give it a try next week some time..probably just primer the whole thing first and go from there, any suggestion for colour? Thanks everyone
