I hate coming up with Screennames, and when I joined here, I just couldnt come up with anything I liked. Then a little story popped into my head, some time goes by, some figues become readily available, and I finally am able to make my moniker. A bit of backstory, and pics of individual bots can be seen here: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/231547-tales-transformers-forgotten-crosswind.html http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radicons-customs/231543-tales-transformers-forgotten-overcharge.html Through a cloud of dust, two warriors are barely able to make each other out. As the draw closer they start to make out the others eirily familiar silhouette. Each asks the other why they are here. Crosswind and Overcharge talk for the first time before trying to destroy one another. Had a grudge not run between them, they might have found out that they the same set of lies had brought them here together. Instead they began a battle fought many times before, each struggling to bring an end to thier seemingly intertwined fate. Each in their own world, filled with as much hate as desire for their current situation, they did not notice a lone figure floating torwards them. As both warriors charged, willing to give their life to take the others, a light shot accross the landscape. Their spark chambers ruptured, their bodys turn asunder, they are barely cognizant of the Quintesson warship headed torwards their home. Overcharge pulls himself over to Crosswind, and they both know they will have to work together to save their home. Using experimental technology developed by Synwave (who most would say his spark would one day inhabit Shockwave) Overcharge scans Crosswind, while Crosswind pulls Overcharges spark into his own. Another light pierces deep space, and a new being is formed. Speeding across space, the dispatcher of their previous forms poses no threat to their newly combined powers. However, having no way survive without the other half, this new being Crosscharge does not return to Cybertron. Fearing that he could not return to either faction caring the spark of an enmey within, he travels the cosmos as a free spirit. Never able to withstand a innocent being harmed, or an un-honarable fight, Crosscharge has helped shape the course of the Great war, from behind the lines. I always loved the dou-cons and really wished their original toys turned out better. Not seeing that happen anytime soon, I was really glad to see this turn out. I have had this idea in my head for some time now, and have worked on it on and off for a while. Though I do want to thank Alphamagnus for his skyfireprime for getting me wanting to finish making this. Two magnets where placed on top of Overcharges chest, and a thin sheet of metal was glued on to Crosswinds chest. This connection isnt perfect, but is good enough that I can pick him up with out falling apart. While not in my story, his parts forming becomes a little base for any minicons he may have saved. Hope you have enjoyed the story and the figure, please leave me comments and crits if you loved it, hated it, what you would like to see, thanks guys!
With all of the awesome ideas around here its fun to put your own spin on something. Glad you guys like him, I think he might need a friend though.
Awesome Customs, awesome storyline, awesome paint apps....and I think the little Minicon Base is too cool Nice to meet your moniker!!
He might need a friend? I can't wait to see what you come up with next! This guy is amazing, and the back-stories on both of the cons that form him are great!
