WIP 1 WIP 2 This will probably be my last update on the good ol' Plowking commission before I go to paint. The window parts have not been permanently secured, but I wanted to at least show where they fit on the figure. The snow plow weapons are not in place yet either. But if you look at the back of the forearms, you can see the plow mounts already in place. I've also made progress on the head. Almost completed the assembly and base coated. Light up eye works. Having fun with this build. At this stage, he pretty much looks like what I'd see working for movie Hound (minus plow and with a different head, of course). Thanks for taking a look and for any comments you might like to share.
head is extra awesome. Love the photo and how you b/w everything but the head. nice touch. looking really nice.
Thanks. I sometimes have to monkey with these pics to bring out some of the details since it's all white plastic. Hope I don't muck them up too much.
REALLY nice so far. I should try something like this, only much simpler, looks fun. Are you planning to add more armour bits to him? In the movie the bots aren't just car parts on a robot, but the peice reform and attach together into armour-like peice (like BB's knees and stuff) and give it a very contained look. (which you have, which is more than most people)
this is really shaping up quite wonderfully. it certainly fits in the movie-verse, yet it's quite clearly a Plowking as well.
There's nothing left to add. That's the entire Jeep kit, minus the gas cans and the chrome and clear bits, which will be added later. I did add a few "alien" armor pieces to his upper arms and feet using bits from other sources (Gundams, old Star Wars model bits and a few scraps from an old HO scale train), but I didn't want to use much more than the Jeep kit for his body.
SWEET!!....man, I am really looking forward to getting this bad boy in hand....it looks good in the pics already, and pics never do a custom any good....they always look better in person....so I know this is gonna be pure win!!
