Hello all, Here's some updates. Nothing much to say except I guess he'll be the last custom to have this deep shade of red. I kind of like the newer red that I've mixed. Much brighter. And...I miss Grimlock
Hellooo! Eehh...The chrome's all factory. I only painted the none chrome parts Edit- Ok ok. I think u mistook this for the 20th anniversary prime? This is the actual MP-04 with trailer and all.
Very cool repaint. The red looks close to the Henkei Inferno, very sweet. Also, mad props on the Singapore article!
Your work looks nice, but personally I'd prefer a brighter shade of red on Prime here. Anyways, keep up the nice work
I agree. While I love your execution of paint, I think you keep doing "darker than it should be" shades. Another example is this prime. Doesn't mr.hobby make a more redder red? I personally see Prime as a straight red, which could be metallic..not maroon or burgandy like you keep using. See, here's a good example of a brighter red, which I think would be perfect on one of your "red" customs:
This. Also, I'd LOVE to see you go back and start doing some things aside from repainting a figure into the same colors that it already is. Variety is the spice of life
Darker shades are always cool! I am so tempted to do the same with my 20th Anniversary Prime but I don't want to mess him up.
Why cant we just let her do whatever she likes, instead of everyone telling her what theyd rather see her do? Its her choice, and personally i think its good to see something a little different than the norm. I havnt been here long, and im not putting anyone down but thigsg do start to look a bit samey at times ive noticed so to see someone like sab85 pop up with her paint style was really refreshing.
ok! Noted. Well, Galaxy Force is coming up..so.. Actually, for this, less can be more. I just need to cut back 6-8 layers of red while adding 30% of clear yellow to clear red. But you know the feeling when you are splattering paint on ya customs. It's addictive!!!!! Hehehe! Well, as I mentioned above, I'll cut back on the dark shade for Galaxy Force. Whee! Yes sir! You've got it. I've got 2 special Henkeis coming up. Henkei Nemmy and Punch/Counterpunch. FR!! I want those heads!!!!! Yay!!!!
Thanks Drpee!!! You're awfully kind. Really nice of you to actually accept something out of the ordinary. And I'm pretty cool too with people telling me what they had like to see different. May or may not happen p)but it's great to hear a different perspective. Besides, most of them are waaaay more experienced than me in this field. (note: and old!!! Heheheheeheh)
