This looks amazing and I especially applaud your Styrene Skills. He looks awesome. My only thing is that the head seems a little bit on the small side for his bot mode size. Is it just me or maybe the pictures are making his head look smaller than it actually is. Also, what are your plans for a handle to Shockwave in Alt mode?
Keep up the good work. |

Although there's a big chance i might screw this up on the paint job.
MoeSizzlac your right about the head, I trimed down the ear pieces to get the head to fit in the hole and it seemed to make the head magicly shrink. So i'll be cutting them off completely and adding new ones that fold in. If it still looks small i'll build it up with some styrene.
Soundwaves alt mode is gonna stay pretty much the same but i'm adding a roof rack witch will hold the 2 guns and some communications equipment which will turn into a back pack for the robot mode.
The one thing i'm not sure of is to attempt to sand off the chain mail effect on the front of the hummvee or not. I'll be taking off the star for sure to replace it with a Decepticon symbol. |

I'd ditch the whole car mode part of the Soundwave and just use the alt transformation to make yourself a cassetteplayer though, then that chest wouldnt' look out of place when he's transformed. Radicons aren't limited to just Transformers. . . .

I agree with an earlier post though, his head does seem a little small compared to the bulk of his upper torso. Gun mode is going to be sweeeeet!
Thanks for the nod on the Soundwave mod! I was thinking about doing what you did there with the front doors (the red ones), leaving them attached to the chest to achieve a more solid look. Can you share any insights on that? I'm curious how you went about it, and how sturdy it is.
Looks great, and I echo your roof-rack/weapons plan...

Really coming along great, waiting for the finish! I agree with Redline, Shocky and Soundwave deserve their own threads!

Orbital assault cannon is a very nice mode... I think you need more mini guns on him. The arms... when you get around with the panel detail.... maybe, I suggest to cover/disguise them with a shell or flap of some sort.. heck, give him easily concealed thrusters or solar panels/transmission dishes!! I love this by the way!!! |

Thanks dude, I've been looking for a decent mold for Soundwave for so long and when I saw your thread I ordered a Cap America Transformer straight away. (I also ordered a cybertron Jetfire to try that Armada Megs mod.)
I did alter the transformation slightly by drilling 2 holes in the back blue roof section and this clips into the waist section, this made the structure very solid but left him looking quite hollow. Thats when I had the idea to remove the door panels from the arms and glue them to the roof.
I also used the hands from Cybertron Soundwave so he could hold the weopons and I drilled a small hole on the front of the car to hold the sholder cannon. Quote:

| Thanks for the feedback, you read my mind. I was thinking of nabbing some parts from ROTF Soundwave when it gets released. |
