My current plan is getting plexiglass or something lightweight and affixing an LED flashlight to two panes cut out in a sword-shape. The hilt may take a bit more thought - I almost want to try getting some wood. Problem is, I don't know anyone with the right tools in town to properly cut it in to shape.
I'm totally open for ideas if anyone has any. I understand there's some good modeling clay out on the market, too. | |

The wings fully fold in/out, and are a little loose; I'm going to try painting over the hinge to give it a bit more resistance.
They also helped me craft a pattern for the armguards, but as it stands nothing is going to be done with those until my vinyl arrives on Tuesday. That's probably when my next update will be as we start getting color on this guy! | |
