The leader himself; Hun-Gurrr. This guy was reimagined, and re-engineered about a dozen times. I finally got him to a place where I felt he was fulfilling what I wanted him to. There were definitely some compromises to get all of the needed functions into the figure ( I am not particularly happy with the rear legs in dragon mode, for example, but this was the best I could do to make him proportional in bot mode.) The good news is, there are no add on parts to make Abominus (outside of the original G1 additions, that is.) All connectors are integrated into the figures. Hun-gurrr's shield becomes the chest plate, and can be attached to the shoulder, and held in his hand.
He was constructed out of about a billion figures, but the main parts came from Galaxy Force Prime (chest and arms), Energon Beachcomber (legs and waist), and a couple classics Grimlock heads for feet. Some Zoids armor plating fills in a lot of the gaps, along with some scratchbuilt parts as well!
I threw in a teaser pic of the Abominus components to whet your appetite for the grand finale. Sinnertwin is being re-engineered now (he was nearly as difficult as ol' Hun-Gurrr here,) but he should be coming soon. And then: Abominus! Enjoy! Sig pictures are to be no larger than 40KB in file size and should be no larger than 300 pixels in height and 500 pixels wide - 2005 Staff |

I do see your point about the back legs. To be honest, it wouldn't bother me so much if this wasn't such an awesome figure. But I totally understand that sometimes sacrifices need to be made. Love the head mod to SSS.
Bravo. |

Your work is best summed up in one word.......AMAZING.
I've been watching this (along with your previous Combaticon works, your Technobot works, and your head sculpts) and I definitely look forward to seeing more--especially Abominus. Keep up the great work! |
