Universe Sunstreaker made more G1ish, with added details. I used drybrush on the robot parts, I added foil tape to the top and sides of the spoilers and painted the undersides chrome silver and tried to go for the black accents that the original toy / toon had but with the modern interpretation the Universe line was going for, but missed. the huge Autobot symbol always bugged me, so I gave him the G1 roof with a smaller symbol. and painted the thighs, feet and fists yellow, and the forearms black. I also made a few mods to the mold to let the chest / roof fully turn and the head come up a bit higher, the roof always stopped just shy of being fully straight up and down, being cocked to one side, Sideswipe also had this issue. also a preview of two more of the three I will also be posting... I dig it! I wanted to add some yellow to my Sunstreaker too... go to know it'll look great! How exactly did you rig it so the head pops up higher? zmog
you have to take the chest apart, there is a little tab... if you look at the bottom of the head platform that you can cut some of it away, if you look as you take it apart you'll see where it hits and you can determine how much you need to remove. hope this helps, if not i'll try to take pics....
