Awsome paint job on your thundercracker. What kinds of paints and technique did you use. I tried to repaint an acid storm into a thundercracker and I wasnt happy with the way it turned out. But now that they re-released lighter colored starscream, I think I might to do it again.

I used Starscream as a base for TC and Skywarp.

I used Tamiya Color (for plastics) for the blue, and actually
he looks more metallic in person than the pics.
the paint adheres really good and goes on really thin, as far
as not adding thickness to the figure, but it covers good.

though over dark colors using a Tamiya silver or something
for a base coat is recommended. the paint doesn't flake, chip
or rub off even with transformation. way better than that crappy
Fusion paint Krylon has, I ruined my first Skywarp using that crap.

I taped off the stripes and symbols and used Testors acrylic silver
on the chest & black for the "wheels" & housing, then added more
blue for the accents on the waist.

i'm not doing a Universe Starscream redo, I have an unopened Screamer
and I made these two to accompany him. the only thing I would do
to him anyway would be paint the forearm backs and missle launchers white
and possibly a darker red for the chest.

I do however have a Classics Starscream I am considering redoing, but he
will have a different look than the Universe Seekers, maybe more realistic
    looking jet wise.

This reminds me, that I need to finish my seekers off.
I hope mine come out as nice as yours, I hate painting the seeker molds.
