Universe Skywarp (first posted custom) this is my Skywarp, a direct repaint of Universe Starscream. this is not my first custom, but it is the first of the good ones. I know he's painted basic with not many accents, but that's how I like him. I wanted a "toy" look for him as well as my Thundercracker I will post soon. just something to accompany my Universe Starscream in package in alt mode. you can't really see it too well, but I did paint the backs of the forearms black to blend with the rest of the plane, like the Henkei's, I also sharpened the missles. I also taped off the symbols and stripes, then masked off the red to paint it purple. I have done touchups since the pics, so if you see white showing through in these pics, it's not there anymore. I was going for a semi Henkei look with him. I did Thundercracker too, I will post more customs as I get them, my actual camera screwed up so I am doing my best with my phone, so bear with me. Nice paint application, but lacking a bit on the detailing side! Post shading maybe? You did a good job, I'm not dissing you or anything. But I'd go for more details, such as shadows over recesses and such!! I need to make one of my own to go with my MP!
I know he don't have a lot of detail, with him and Thundercracker I wanted a "toy" look to go with the Henkei's and Universe lines, that I am going to display them with in package in alt modes. so I wanted simple with them. I have a Sunstreaker, Ironhide, Smokescreen & Bluestreak I made a Goldbug, but I have to detail him and do some touchups yet. these are much more detailed.
Looks clean. It doesn't need detail if it looks good and is clean. I like it. I doesn't even look like a custom.

thanks, I like seeing what others have done here and I am glad to be a part of it. I have to wait until tomorrow to get good pics of TC, considering what I have to use for a camera, I need better lighting, I will also be posting my others soon. hope you like those as well.
