I was wanting to make a tripple changer Springer, and I saw what you started off with and thought it looked great, but figured I'd take a different approach. But now... I might have to this as well... Seriously, I'm really liking what you're doing with the legs/back of car/helicopter.
I wonder if you can some how use the ball joints from sideswipe's rear bumper/knees to make the tail parts swivel into place for car mode?

Collection Count: Probably about 110, 115 maybe. | Well, just got home from work and looked at ol' Sideswipe and realized you probably had to carve that ball joint part off for the rear blades to fit into place as the rear wheels... (can't view the pictures at home ) But if you didn't carve it off I think it could still work. If you're interested let me know and I'd be happy to explain further how I think it would work. It'd probably be quite a bit of work though, involving carving out the inside of the tail and probably insert some tracks.
I'm just too chicken to try it out myself.

One thing that has slowed me down is the magnets aren't working as well as I'd hoped. So now I am trying to use the ball joint on his leg, as you described. School also got very heavy in the past month, now with spring break coming up I hope to finish him. In the next week and a half, there will definitely be more pictures. |
