I finally updated both jumpstarters! Here are their vehicle modes. I used Movie Air Raid for Topspin. I just painted him up in his G1 colors. I just found Universe Scattershot at KB Toys and used him for Twintwist. I also found a knock off constructicon set and used the missles for Twintwist's drills. As for Twintwist, when I mistransformed him, I found a mode that makes him look better. He even serves as a launch pad for Topspin.
Wow, you've really captured their G1feel. These guys were some of my fav toys as a kid, and you've done them proud! I may have to shamelessly attempt this myself.
I like how you mistransform Twintwist it got that more updated version to it, but either that way or the original it still looks sweet so does Topspin. So you did a great job of making these new versions of the Jumpstarters.
Thanks for all the comments. The downside of doing the repaints is missing some parts. It wasn't until I mistransformed Twintwist that I noticed that I missed some of the joints. Oh yeah, I definitely want to see other people versions of these guys. I want to do a deluxe or voyager version one day.
if you go for deluxe can I suggest crossovers Hulk for Twin Twist, new head and some mods, I think he would pull it off very well. I'm hoping to make one myself in a bit.
Yeah man, sometimes the jumpstarters don't get the love they deserve, it's nice to see such a well done update of them!
Those wreck n rule! Those are the only two molds I ever saw as the Jumpstarters. And you did it with aces!
Mistransformed Twin Twist = EPIC WIN!! It's amazing how good that turned out. Nice job on these! Great idea! Hulk would probably make a great Twin Twist... but Deluxe? Crossovers Hulk is HUGE... closer to Voyager! zmog
