Oh ____. Problem. Originally i started with Iron paint, but after many, many coats of varnish, i still can't get it to, well, not rub off at the slightest touch. Must repaint the arms now...Along with the claw arm.
The arms have dried, now waiting on the claw arm. Meanwhile, i managed to mod the wrist armor, so that there was more space between the hand and the lower arm, just enough to fit the back plate of the claw arm on (using the post of the ball joint). This allows me to use the ball jointed hand to secure the claw arm in place, with the original hand hidden inside.
welcome aboard, man. Nice stuff you've got here. Just an FYI, if a custom is made from non-tf parts, but is customized to be a TF-universe toy, then it goes in any of the regular customs project forums. If it's made from a non-TF to be a non-TF, then it goes in non-TF.
OK, his claw's varnished, and so have both of his arms. Looks a lot more like an arm, than just an add on part now, imo.
[Small Update] OK, finally... ...I managed to get a second spinner cone for his other arm. Had to resort to using an Aluminium one though, plastic ones weren't available. Unfortunately, my magnet supply has disappeared, so i'll have to wait till more come before starting work. However, at least i can finally reveal why i used the spinner cone thingy. Omega's rocket! Albeit a bit more egg shaped than the original... P.S. Have decided to scrap the alt mode. Just to complicated for a novice like me.
