Those repro's look spot on! You should do very well with the folks on this board. They are very collaborative, and very supportive. I have had a lot of folks ask if I could do the repro parts duty, but it would take too much time out of my custom sculpting stuff (which is what I REALLY have fun doing.) Plus, I don't mind saying, my plastic casting skills would not hold a candle to what you are showing here. I think you should slap a list of parts that you would like to make available, and that way folks could lend you those parts to expand your mold selection. Like I said: very good group of folks here!
Good Luck! Sig pictures are to be no larger than 40KB in file size and should be no larger than 300 pixels in height and 500 pixels wide - 2005 Staff |

However I do want to offer a word of warning. It seems that some others in the past have gotten in legal trouble for this sort of thing. So just tread carefully. One site that does this sort of thing is: http://www.brokenarrowtoys.com/cart/
He has basically listed his parts with obscure names to try to avoid any infringement - sort of like how the KO WST Dinobots are called things like Flamethrower. |

Also when paying with Paypal....Please put your forum name and the items you want in the notes section. That makes it easier for me to contact you if I need to.
And don't forget to include shipping. Want List Feedback For Sale |

Some other makers deliberately cast their parts in a shade different from the original just so that it can be differentiated by someone who is really concerned about authentic vs. repro. Personally I would think that if the repro part is of good quality this isn't as big of a deal, but I am not really a completist either. |

The Chromedome gun's a good start, but particular favourites of mine include guns from bases that work well as hand-held weapons - examples include the laser machine gun from the Micromaster Battlefield HQ, Skyhopper's nose gun, and the machine gun from Groundshaker. Things like that look good with most figs, and the standardised pegs make them nicely interchangeable.

Oh, and RIRFIB. Some of us remember the toys.

It's good to finally see someone do these since transrepro is no more. I hope you continue this and expand your products too. I think heads would be a big hit for the customizers here. |
