What materials do you use to construct the joints? Do you build/sculpt news ones, or take from another toy line?

As for hands if you have a KO Alt Sideswipe (or any form of that mold) those hands work great. Just pop them out and cut the ball off the wrists and they fit in perfectly, and are roughly the same size. Can't hold his gun worth a damn though.

 

Amazing work. These are what classics should have been. This treatment might not look so hot on toys like G1 Iron hide or Megatron though.

Any chance of a group shot with all the updated Autobots you've done?

www.hlj.com sells 1/100 gundam manipulators so you don't have to destroy a good figure just to get hands. kotobukiya has its own line too.

 

how come you never post photos of the actual joints themselves? it'd be great to find out how you did them. or is it a secret?
