Amazing work. This is more or less what Ultimate Bumblebee should have looked like.

It's nice to see such an ambitious project get finished up in such a successful way.

Took the words right out of my mouth.
If UB looked this good I would not store him in alt mode.
Damn my wife for buying him for me instead of MP Starscream. :banghead:

Agreed. Definitely worth the wait. The tons of effort I'm sure that this took certainly paid off. Looks amazing!

Absolutely amazing. Just amazing. I think you'd get quite a lot of offers if you sold this guy.

    Car mode pics?

    Update 27-AUG_09:

    It's upgrade time!

While working on my Cliffjumper project and making new molds, I decided to upgrade the head sculpt and hand canon with the new ROTF preview BB. I molded and cast the two parts in Hydrospan and grew it and molded it just like I did with the other parts. The head just pops and locks on the neck piece, so I can't do a quick swap of the head for the battle mask. I might see about moddint this head to be like the HA version so it too can slide up and down into possition. The han canon was modded by taking an extra hand and cutting down the fingers and thumb and triming the hand to be more of a post and drilled a coresponding hole in the cannon back side and glued the the ball and stem in place. I then dremeled the the right arm so that the hand ball and the canon can pop in place. I started painting the new parts and fill in some air bubbles with fixit sculpt. I should have this wrapped up soon. Here is a quick pic for you all:

thanks for doing a comparison shot...
that must be a heavy thing!
nice! wow it is bigger than the HA BB!

by the way...what do you call this process of growing ? I am guessing you cast a mold of teh original but the material you use has teh ability to grow... then recast again-- to the plastic that you use...

the first page of this thread does not really take me/us to your original thread...

    thanks...

    very very interesting...

I fixed the link. It should now take you to the last page of the first post covering the process of making this and using Hyderospan.
